Oh Sim!

This is a saying around our house a lot lately. You would think it was something me and Greg have said a lot b/c Sam has starting saying it anytime she drops/spills something. I heard her say Sim (her version of Sam) in her little toddler disapproving voice the other day while eating fruit in her high chair - then as I was turning to tell her what a good job she did on saying her name I notice she is pouring her fruit out of the bowl on to her tray. Needless to say I couldn't help but laugh - which now has started our newest game! Now our evenings are filled with Oh Sim! and looking to see what she has spilt or knocked over now!

Flower GIrl

My cousin Chris got married this past weekend (6-26) and they asked that Sam be a flower girl. I wasn't sure how it would turn out and had to put away any thoughts that yes this is my daughter and please don't consider her a menace- she is just spirited and Sam acted in true adorable 18 month fashion. She did actually walk down the aisle during the ceremony which made this mama proud but I also lived through her walking around throughout the ceremony and talking to people 3 rows back and even conning the little boy in the second row out of part of his snack. Here is the wedding through Sammie vision.....

Thanks again to my cousin Alicia for making the most gorgeous slip and flower girl dress!

No I don't think it would be a good idea to pretend to cut grass in your slip

I know I can fit!!!

Oh this is the best toy!

oh you want a kiss?

All set!!!

Getting ready to walk down the aisle

Here I come!

A job well done now sitting with me, mom and my grandmother!
Sam gets her baby blues from her!

Just a quick shot of her diaper cover! Alicia did a great job with the monogram!

Finally a little rest and chilling with the girls by the pool!
