A few weeks ago I introduced Sam to pudding. The first time we had vanilla pudding and she did good - even feeding herself with a spoon -making hardly a mess. I hate to say I got a little cocky even bragging a little to Greg. Well feeling brave I armed myself with the camera and laid some chocolate pudding down in front of Sam-- needless to say the spoon didn't work fast enough to shovel this new delicacy into Sam's mouth....
Trying the spoon....
(of course this is the second attempt at trying the spoon I was a little late with the picture taking!)
Nope hand works better- though I will hold on to the spoon just in case.
The final result!
Notice our white bow is missing? It's not white anymore!

Snow Day
When daycare closed due to snow on Friday- I was sure that we weren't going to get a lot - and mainly I was praying that at least work would be closed because I knew Greg had to go to work. Luckily even though I had to call in - they closed work around lunch. We ended up getting about 3 inches (maybe 2 - I always think it is more than it is). Sam loved wathching all the snow coming down put the window and eventually with mom's help I braved bundling her up and out we went.
When I went to go get the mail- you can't see real well but it's coming down pretty steady.

My little girly girl
My little Sam has already started earning the label of girly girl at the tender age of 13 months.
I may have coaxed some of this along but most is through her observation--(note to self: WATCH EVERYTHING I DO AND SAY!)
Here she is playing with a purse I found. I bought it along time ago for a friend's little girl that stayed at our house every now and then.
And on the arm it goes- She is ready to go- well after we wash the rest of dinner off her face!
Starting to play tea. She has little cups that go with this that every once and a while you will see her "drinking" from. Right here she was trying to fit a measuring cup in the little hole it has.
Lastly - this little girl LOVES babies! We already have a few - and soon I will have a picture of her feeding her favorite baby that we just got. This is one I got to keep in her diaper bag - I caught her cradling her baby (or BA as she calls them -though sometimes we get a full baby out) while watching Seasame Street.

First Haircut
This past weekend Sam received her first haircut. She received this cut from my mom's best friend Karen - who happened to also give me my first haircut. Mainly I had her just trim the front and few stray hairs on the side. She did an awesome job and Sam looks so cute!
